Stars, stars, stars, everywhere! Long-time guild member Nancy Hager taught students how to make two snowflake ornaments. The morning workshop and the noon-time Annual General Meeting was a good way to get together and a great way to end the year. Plans are underway for the 2022 season so please check back in January 2022 for a schedule of Southwestern Ontario Basketry Guild workshops and events. Snowflake ornament lead by Nancy Hager
It was a full house! After two years of not weaving together, 10 members of the Southwestern Ontario Basketry Guild got together to weave on Saturday, October 23. Long-time guild member Louise McDougall taught her dragonfly basket, a creative variation of the classic market basket. It was great to reunite with guild members. Every student brought home a completed hand-made basket. Louise McDougall teaches the dragonfly basket.
