March workshop with Louise MacDougall
Guild member and master basketmaker Louise MacDougall taught us how to create a basket using drift wood as a handle. She showed us the proper placement of the ribs. She brought in a variety of colours and materials to use. This was the first workshop of the year and it was sold out (actually oversold but Louise was a good sport!). We also had our first show and tell in a long time and some beautiful baskets were brought in to discuss and admire.
